History
The Lemontzoglou family is involved with metal processing since 1943, when the fifteen-years-old then, Alexander took over the reins of the family after the loss of his father. Initially he studied and worked as a Turner assistant and in 1955 opened his first workshop in Bosporus Street in New Smyrna where he began to manufacture brass components and aluminum castings. In 1968 he moved his studio in a private building in the Botanical in Amfipoleos Street. In 1980, his son Vasilis starts working with passion on his father side, giving new air to the family business. The long experience of Alexander's father was combined with the scientific knowledge of his son Vasilis, who graduated as a mechanical engineer from the University of Patras in 1986. Since then, the family Lemontzoglou actively engaged in manufacturing all kinds of metal parts from iron and brass with the most modern methods lathes CNC (ComputerNumericalControl) and marketing parts air brake vehicles of any kind and high and low pressure systems.ems.
Who Are We
Vasilis Lemontzoglou graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from Piraeus KATE 1982 with distinction and then won a scholarship to the School of Engineering, University of Patras, graduating from the school of Mechanical Engineering in 1986. From 1980 he is working the family business together with his father Alexander Lemontzoglou, where apart from the construction of hydraulic components for brakes, he started taking actions in trading high and low pressure pipes and all kinds of vehicle air brake systems. As a mechanical engineer, takes over the safety issues and health issues at workplaces, mostly workshops, as a safety technician. In addition, he is a certified Inspector good operation of WABCO ABS brake systems, KNORR and HALDEX while his experience and knowledge is always in the service of workshop and artificial brakes of all types of vehicles.
Alexander V. Lemontzoglou, graduated from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering of AUTH and speaks four languages (English, French, German, Spanish). Carring on for the third generation of family tradition offers the expertise of the era of the long experience of the family business.
